All of the pupils will create a  presentation of their choice  using as many different multimedia features as possible.  These include using the video camera, digital camera, sound, scanner etc.

The pupils will then present their work to the class using the interactive whiteboard!

This unit looks at using a spreadsheet to carry out calculations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.

The pupils explore the effects of changing data within a spreadsheet and create charts to illustrate specified information.  They make predictions and check them using a spreadsheet model.

This unit looks at how computers can be used to monitor physical factors, such a movement, sound, temperature and touch.

Pupils will design and create a control system that controls events in response to physical conditions.  They will develop a system using a range of input and output devices, demonstrating fitness for purpose.

This unit focuses on the Internet: what it can be used for and how it should be used responsibly.

Pupils will collect information from the Internet and present a piece of work for a specified audience.  They will also use complex searches using a range of operators to find a range of information. 

Pupils will select text and pictures from the internet to put into a webpage.  all work will have links form this site in a few weeks!
