Drama
The benefits of the effective use of Drama:

Drama can be effectively used to build children's confidence
and develop their social skills.

Drama can be successfully used as a teaching approach for
exploring cross-curricular subjects and issues.

Drama can also be used in developing children's performance and
self-presentation skills.
The pupils at Snaresbrook College engage in Drama on a regular
basis. Up until Year 3 it is covered within the English curriculum, in
Year 3 and Year 4 pupils are given a Drama lesson by our Drama Specialist and in
Years 5 and Year 6 it is covered within Drama Club.
Year 4 Drama lesson - 'Nero' a historical play
In the last part of the spring term and the summer term, pupils were given the
chance to rehearse and perform a short play to the year 3 class. The year
3 class thoroughly enjoyed watching the performance and are looking forward to
their turn when they are in year 4!
