After school care
From the end of the day until 4.30pm the pupils engage in group play
sessions and a generally wind down after the end of the
school day.
From 4.30pm - 4.45pm the children are given a light tea consisting of a
sandwich and a drink. From 4.45pm onwards the children are encouraged to
do their homework and read. Once this is completed children are then given
playground time (weather permitting).
Homework will be supervised but we are unable to provide 1-1 sessions.
The children will need to bring with them all the books they need. Every
effort will be made to cover individual reading but this will depend upon the
numbers staying. Priority will be given to the younger children.
Junior children may do their homework independently before tea. Staff
will be involved in play sessions at this time.
